Sabah Tea & The Coffee Bean &Tea Leaf
☕NATURE OF BUSINESS OF SABAH TEA🍵
Sabah Tea Sdn Bhd’s origin can be traced back to the year
1976 when the state government of Sabah decided to offer 6,200 acres of land in
Kampung Nalapak situated in Ranau,Sabah to Koperasi Desa (KPD) for development.
Sabah Tea was then incorporated on April 26, 1978 as a subsidiary of KPD to
operate and manage the Tea Garden. Our then Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir
Mohamad officiated the opening of the Sabah Tea Garden on February 19, 1984.

team decided to form a joint-venture with Tate & Lyle, and Commonwealth
Development Corporation. The partnership is seen as a strategy to lighten the
burden of the government while tapping onto Tate & Lyle’s tea expertise.
However, in 1995, the government decided to privatize Sabah Tea as they believe
that by doing so, Sabah Tea would be able to reach greater heights.
An Ipoh-based company, Yee Lee

☕THE USE OF FACEBOOK PAGE IS SUITABLE AS A PLATFORM FOR ONLINE BUSINESS🍵
The use of this Facebook page as social network is suitable as a platform for online business because it reduce transaction cost. It takes less manpower to complete an online transaction. Once you get your website up and running, the customer places the order online, which removes the need for salesperson. The customer payment goes through online your online payment processing software or system. For example, online banking. Furthermore, Business hour is flexible. E-business break down the time barriers that location-based businesses encounter, according to e-commerce Education. Because the internet is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, your business never closes. An e-business can literally be making money while you are asleep. Lastly, cost-effective Marketing. with an e-business, all of your marketing efforts end with one goal to drive target traffic to your business website (social network). With one central place to send customers, your e-business website it allows you to use many online tactics including email marketing, article marketing, social media networking and social network. These online marketing efforts are very low cost or free, so an e-business allows highly cost effective marketing strategies.
☕CRITICIZE THE USE OF RICHNESS INFORMATION TO ATTRACT ONLINE CUSTOMERS🍵
The
use of richness information to attract online customers is very effective as it
can provide customers full information about the products and services as well
as to improve customers' satisfaction, improve the sales of business and high
profits return.
However,
there will be also some disadvantages on the use of richness information to
attract online customers. First, the slowness and security concerns hinder
online shopping growth. The majority of consumers surveyed are not abandoning
online shopping sprees because they change their minds or run out of time to
make their purchases. Online sales would be higher and grow faster if retailers
and e-commerce companies could improve website speed and ease consumer fears
about security. Second, is bad publicity. Having a website risks attracting bad
publicity. If a customer is unhappy with your service or products, then they
may feel the need to vent their frustrations online and reference your website
in their review/comments. This could be potentially damaging, hurting both your
reputation and your search engine ranking. Of course, not having a website
won’t prevent such things happening but it might allow you to monitor and be
aware of it. Third, difficultly reaching the right people. This is because of
the nature of the internet and the sheer number of businesses already on the
World Wide Web, you may find it difficult to reach the right target audience
with your website. Competition within your market may be strong and the battle
for the illusive No.1 spot on Google maybe a difficult one, against a wealth of
other businesses in your sector. This is not always the case and there are ways
around it such as using our Competitor Insight service to learn your
competitions internet strategy and targeting “long-tail” keyword. Fourth,
crashes and up-time. A website that crashes is no good to anyone. This is a
serious disadvantage for a business. If your website is constantly crashing or
unavailable then people will not be able to find information about your
business and you could miss out on potential sales. An unreliable connection
could also mean a plummet in a websites search engine ranking.
